Another good one! I like that you've taken the time to photograph these raggedy flowers, because they are more interesting (to me) than the usual perfect ones. These have the look of a Van Gogh painting.

I am 70 years old now. I began painting water colours and oils while at The Doon School, Dehradun, India, under the guidance of Rathin Mitra. Rathin did excellent linework and has sketched most of the significant monuments of Calcutta and also many other national monuments, cities, towns and landscapes. While in college in the early 70s I discovered the artist in me, when I began sketching with a passionate frenzy. That is the time I broke out of traditional forms and discovered Picasso and his contemporaries. Around this time I created a large number of watercolour landscapes with quick brush strokes creating patterns and colours that fascinated me.
